Using Vision on Internet Explorer 11

Wednesday 20 October 2021

From 1st November 2021, we will no longer be supporting and testing Vision on Internet Explorer 11. It may be that our functionality within Vision will still work on Internet Explorer 11 after this date, but we will not actively be testing and developing for this platform.

Why are we doing this?

As you may be aware, Windows is phasing out the support for Internet Explorer 11, this means that they will stop supporting Internet Explorer 11 and any apps which may use this platform and in its place, they will be supporting their new internet browser – Edge.

How does this impact you?

Your company has been highlighted to us that your Vision users are using Internet Explorer 11 to access Vision and with this in mind, we are recommending that your Vision users upgrade their internet browser.

We would recommend that you use Google Chrome as that is our preferred browser, however, we will be supporting Edge in Internet Explorer 11s place as an alternative browser.
