What is Logistics Magazine?
Logistics Magazine is a monthly publication that is sent to Logistics UK members and senior business people working across the supply chain. It is packed with news, features and interviews, as well as useful information on compliance and legislation so crucial to the safety of all transport operations.
What kind of content does it contain?
Logistics Magazine tackles the big issues facing logistics, from technology and innovation to infrastructure and decarbonisation. It is one of the few publications to report on the industry across all modes – road, rail, sea and air.
What are the regular features?
One of the magazine’s regular features is a compliance advice section, where readers can discover more about key issues including agency drivers, the safe loading of vehicles and Clean Air Zones. Plus, there’s a regular ‘Headliners’ section, featuring the month’s must-read news stories.
What is its reach?
Logistics Magazine has a reach that rivals and exceeds that of many trade titles and offers a great way to access an often hard-to-reach audience.

The biggest risk to logistics in a generation?
Logistics UK's (FTA’s) activity to support the logistics sector during the COVID-19 pandemic is the lead story for the April issue of Logistics Magazine. The business group has launched a free COVID-19 web portal and has started issuing daily enews updates to keep members fully informed of developments. Budget 2020 is the other headline story, which has delivered a distinctly mixed result for logistics.
We talk to Dr Daniel Ruiz, Chief Executive of Zenzic, in the latest of our series of ‘in profile’ interviews. Tasked with accelerating the self-driving revolution, Ruiz shares his view on why it is vital that the UK retains its lead in this fast-moving space.
Alex Veitch, Logistics UK’s Head of Multimodal Policy, argues the case for rail decarbonisation, while former FTA chief Richard Turner shares some of his memories from the early days of the Logistics UK Shop, which celebrates its golden anniversary this month.
The importance of good vehicle maintenance record-keeping is the topic of this month’s compliance section.
