Continental is now offering automated tyre tread depth measurements for the first time thanks to its new ContiConnect sensor generation. This allows fleet operators to obtain precise daily updates on the rate of wear of their vehicle’s tyres. Working in conjunction with AI-based algorithms, upcoming tyre services for individual vehicles as well as entire fleets can be accurately planned. This increases the safety and efficiency of the fleet, saves costs and helps to reduce its CO2 emissions.
Reducing inefficiency in loading to maximise capacity usage and avoid delays across the logistics network has long been a challenge in both road and rail operations.
