Our new e-OLAT for Directors’ course mirrors the classroom-based course currently on offer. This new e-course is delivered via an instructor-led webinar, and will provide an overview for company directors and their statutory duties with regards to the operator licensing system.

 

This course is designed to help directors and senior managers understand the importance of ensuring legal compliance within their operation. It provides an overview of the operator licensing system and details the fundamental undertakings that apply to operators.

General Security Awareness Training (GSAT) – Online Training

In line with EU Requirement 2320, GSAT training has now been in existence since November 2007 and all staff working in the Security Restricted Area (SRA) of a Department for Transport controlled airport will need to hold a current certificate. Newly recruited staff will need to undergo this training as a prerequisite to applying for an airport ID pass.

The irtec Licence is a qualification developed for vehicle technicians in the HGV, PCV and trailer sectors. It is a nationally recognised certificate which demonstrates to any employer in the road transport industry that an inspection technician has reached a required standard to undertake vehicle inspections.

All staff with unescorted access to identifiable secure air cargo will require training to some degree. Exactly which staff receive which level or module is down to the specific company to decide based on their knowledge of the operation and the rules set in place by the CAA/DfT.

There is a training syllabus specifically for Known Consignor and their drivers (Known Consignor Modules 1–7).
