Dangerous Goods Awareness e-Workshop

Logistics UK Training has launched a NEW online interactive Dangerous Goods Awareness e-Workshop, now available as part of our Dangerous Goods Academy training portfolio. This introduction course is designed to provide an opportunity to engage with one of our Dangerous Goods Safety Advisers who will provide dangerous goods legislative guidance to those involved in the carriage of dangerous goods.

Dangerous Goods by Air for Cargo Staff and Airport Ground Handling Staff

This course is designed for ICAO/IATA categories 4, 5, 7, 8, 9, 10, 12, 13, 14 plus staff of Designated Postal Operators in categories b and c.

Dangerous Goods by Air for Crew Members (other than flight crew members)

This course is designed to meet the training requirements in law of all aircrew other than flight crew, i.e. cabin staff, flight attendants, and anyone else with duties on board an aircraft other than the operating pilots.

This course is designed for ICAO/IATA categories 11 and 17.

Dangerous Goods by Air for Flight Crew Members, Load Planners and Loadmasters

This course is designed to meet the training requirements in law of Flight Crew members, Load Planners, Flight Operations officers/flight dispatchers and Loadmasters.

This course is designed for ICAO/IATA categories 10 and 16.

This course has been designed to meet the training requirements in law of all passenger handling staff, and security screening staff

Dangerous Goods Safety Adviser (DGSA)

Subject to certain concessions, companies involved in the carriage or related loading of dangerous goods by road must appoint an appropriately qualified Dangerous Goods Safety Adviser (DGSA). Personnel wishing to be employed as Dangerous Goods Safety Advisers should attend this course.

Driver Assessments

This course is designed for drivers of all types of goods vehiclest to assess their current driving practices and provide relevant corrective training. An assessment is conducted over a designated route. Drivers must already hold the appropriate full category of licence entitlement to drive the vehicle. A full report is issued to the employer for each driver.
