Vans come into scope of operator licensing this weekend, Logistics UK reminds members

Certain types of van will be coming into operator licensing for the very first time this weekend. From Saturday 21 May 2022, vans between 2.5 and 3.5 tonnes Gross Vehicle Weight (GVW), which conduct business on a ‘hire and reward’ basis in the EU, Iceland, Liechtenstein, Norway or Switzerland, will need to be specified on a standard international operator licence.
