Release to Vision, Tuesday 6th October 2026
What We’ve Been Doing
Employee Reviews
The team are starting work this month on moving Debriefs into the Review section. This will take several months but will greatly improve the process going forward. If you have any thoughts on how the process can be improved, please contact [email protected] or [email protected]

Multi Factor Authentication (MFA)
This feature is now available in the Account settings section of Vision. We strongly recommend that it is used to ensure your data is kept as secure as possible. We will be forcing all companies to enable MFA on their account by January 2027. Full details can be found here

Earned Recognition
Don’t forget, for those of you using the Vision Fleet feature, you will soon be able to measure your performance against the DVSA Earned Recognition KPI’s. Drivers Hours KPI’s will continue to be measured for those using tachograph analysis albeit with a new look. This will be available towards the end of the month:

Drivers Hours Drivers Hours – The drivers hours engine movement of data is nearly complete, and October will see rigorous testing in live, albeit behind the scenes using our carefully crafted Rules Engine Harness so we can test and compare results without any disruption to you, our members.
Once we are happy with the changes we will be working on adding PSV domestic rules to our analysis suite. More details to follow.
Fleet Workshop- We have a team about to start work on adding in our own VIS inspections to the Fleet Planner and Overview. The inspections will show as planned events as soon as the registration is known. Where defects are raised, the sign off process will not only be included in the Audits and Inspection pages, but also in the Fleet Planner. More to follow
Vision Updates
Standardisation of Dashboards and Reports–
The following driver dashboards have been updated to the new standard format:
- Lead In / Lead Out
- Missing Data
- Missing Mileage
- Debrief (now with drill-down)
- Driver Card Upload (now with trend date buttons)
- Tacho Asset Uploads
We will be checking these in live first before updating the existing Dashboards. If you would like a preview of how these dashboards will look please contact [email protected] and we will share some links with you. In the meantime, here’s a quick preview of how they will look:

The Driver Analysis, RTD Driver and Driver Upload Compliance Status reports now show the standard employee fields which include:
- Name
- Reference Number
- Card Number
- Employee Catogory
- Drivers hours rules
- Roaming status
Existing schedules for these reports have been updated so they keep running as before.
Grey Fleets Checks
Following last month’s update, the required type of insurance cover is now shown throughout the Grey Fleet process: on the New Check wizard, on the insurance form in the Vision App, and on the check itself. The driver’s declaration must cover the required type, and the person approving a vehicle registration can now see the cover the driver declared. Existing checks have been set to Business Use (Class 1 & 2)

Employee Reviews
Employee Reviews gives managers the ability to set reoccurring reviews and discussions with employees and drivers. Vision will automatically schedule, list topics for discussion, capture notes and outcomes, sign off for audit trails, and keep an evidenced record on file.
Like our other Vision features, this has security-based permissions to access and view. Review users’ security protocols to access or restrict authorisation.
This feature is now available in Vision, simply contact tacho support to enable it.

Full details can be found here
Employee Bulk Import
A new employee import type is available in Vision, so you can add and update employees in bulk from a spreadsheet. You can save your column mappings and reuse them next time. If a file has errors, the returned spreadsheet highlights the cells that need fixing and suggests valid values.
