Policy, Policy Insights and Public Affairs
Situated at the interface between members and government, the Policy, Policy Insights and Public Affairs teams work to inform and influence external stakeholders on the logistics sector’s priorities across road, rail, waterways, sea and air freight, while keeping members updated on the latest regulatory and policy developments.
Policy
Leads on policy development and responsible for delivering member meetings, responding to government consultations and meeting with officials to represent members and influence government policy.

Public Affairs
Engages with politicians, civil servants, and stakeholders to advocate for the logistics sector. The team influences government policy on all policy areas, promoting how nothing moves without logistics.
Policy Insights
Produces industry insights, surveys, reports and wider publications to inform and evidence policy work and positions, along with informing members and external stakeholders on industry trends and figures.
The Member Advice Centre
Part of the Policy Insights Team, Logistics UK’s Member Advice Centre (MAC) is a knowledge hub freely accessible to Logistics UK members. The MAC consists of experienced transport professionals able to advise on all aspects of road transport legislation and operations, including drivers’ hours, operator licensing and dangerous goods.
