SeeDrivePro is an accurate online eyesight screening test developed by qualified optometrists and vision scientists at EyeLab.
The test is aligned with DVLA and DVSA Snellen visual acuity standards and versions have been created for HGV/PSV drivers and Company car/Van drivers.
The simple test is designed to be used annually as a routine fleet check and takes just a few minutes per driver, under supervision. This is not about replacing medicals – it’s about preventing problems before they escalate.
SeeDrivePro also supports FORS requirements by providing documented eyesight screening, helping you demonstrate proactive management of driver fitness between medicals.

Additional tests from EyeLab: EyeLab offers a Driver’s Visual Field Test, a simulated Esterman Visual Field Test (EVFT) recommended annually alongside SeeDrivePro to cover all DVLA requirements. This test provides a more comprehensive vision review – testing the drivers field of vision as well as Visual Acuity – at an additional cost of £9 per test. EyeLab tests are vision screening checks only, to find out if your drivers’ vision meets the required standard for driving. They do not replace a full eye examination by a qualified eyecare practitioner such as an optometrist or ophthalmologist. Drivers must still declare relevant medical conditions to the DVLA, including Diabetes, Glaucoma or Cataracts.
