Logistics UK are thrilled to announce Josh Widdicombe will be the host for our Logistics Awards this year!
Josh Widdicombe is one of the UK’s best-loved comedians, described by The Guardian as an ‘ace observationalist’. Starring in over thirty series of the multi award-winning Channel 4 show The Last Leg, Josh also served as team captain on Sky Max’s Rob Beckett’s Smart TV and co-hosted hit shows Hold The Front Page and Hypothetical. He’s made multiple appearances on the nations favourite TV shows including QI, Live At The Apollo, A League Of Their Own, Have I Got News For You and Taskmaster, as well as performing on The Royal Variety Performance. A familiar voice in UK comedy and entertainment, Josh is firmly within the BBC Radio 2 family as a regular cover host, and as well as presenting Pace Setter for BBC Sounds.
Josh co-hosts the mega-hit podcast Parenting Hell with Rob Beckett, which toured arenas and led to the release of their Sunday Times Bestselling Parenting Hell book. Josh’s chart-topping Archive Of Pop Culture podcast launched this year, taking a deep dive into the weirdest, wildest and most unbelievable stories from the most important thing in all our lives: pop culture. He’s the author of Watching Neighbours Twice a Day…How 90’s TV (Almost) Prepared Me For Life, a childhood memoir which secured him the Sunday Times Bestseller status.
Josh’s stand-up special, Bit Much, was taped as the iconic London Palladium, airing on Sky and is now available to stream on NOW. He’s back on tour with his brand- new show, Not My Cup of Tea, receiving rave reviews. His show will be filmed at Hackney Empire, for release on Sky later this year.
