Industry experts to share their insights at Vans Today 2023

Tuesday 28 March 2023

Logistics UK’s popular Vans Today event is returning for 2023 with an unrivalled line-up of speakers, including industry experts from National Highways, SMMT and Aviva. The half-day briefing, which aims to outline potential solutions to some of the key operational challenges currently facing van fleet operators, will be held on 27 April 2023 at Leicester City Football Club.

Sponsored by Logistics UK’s Van Gold Partners – The AA, Bott Ltd, Brigade Electronics, Lex Autolease, TVL and Webfleet - this year’s programme focuses on operating vans during the current cost-of-living crisis, with key topics under discussion including updates on electric vehicles, ways to optimise van operations, van-focussed compliance challenges and the importance of maintaining van security. There will also be an opportunity to ask questions of Logistics UK’s Member Advice Centre team at the MAC clinic that will be held at the event for operators.

Event Chair Denise Beedell, Senior Policy Manager, Logistics UK, said: “We are delighted that so many experts from across the industry have agreed to share their insights during this half-day event. As well as gaining an overview of LCV manufacturing and registration data from Will Reeves at SMMT and advice on safety issues from Mark Cartwright at National Highways, we will hear from Graham Gardner from Webfleet UKI, who will talk about navigating the cost-of-business squeeze with interconnected fleet technology. I urge all operators of van fleets with an interest in these issues to book their place without delay.”
