The role of RTP in improving operations

Mark Harrison & Kevin Youens, Schoeller Allibert

While cardboard packing is seen as environmentally friendly in reality the vast majority of it tends to only be used once, with thousands of tonnes of transit packaging being disposed of every year in the UK. By contrast reusable transit Packing (RTP, which is often stronger and can be used many times, offers significant business and environmental benefits compared with single-trip packaging.

Schoeller Allibert is one of the world’s leading manufacturers of RTP, and will be showing how it can be introduced to day-to-day operations together with the benefits for warehouse handling and durability. They will also describe how it can deliver environmental benefits and provide a long-term option to reducing waste and energy needs for the environmentally conscious operator. As well as show how RTP will play an increasingly important role in logistics from factory floor to front door.
