Virtual Transport Manager is back this November

To enable transport managers across the country to take advantage of the information and guidance, even if they are unable to attend in person, Logistics UK is once again hosting a virtual version of the conference with Virtual Transport Manager taking place on Friday 21 November 2025.

Virtual Transport Manager will cater for those who cannot travel to an in-person event, whether due to location, time or business pressures, or who don’t have time for all the sessions in one go. The virtual one-day conference will follow the same format as the in-person events being held around the country and will provide the information and guidance on legislation which the industry-leading conferences are renowned for.

Logistics UK is delighted to have secured the involvement of the Traffic Commissioners for the whole series, both virtual and in-person: Miles Dorrington, Traffic Commissioner for the West Midlands, will be speaking at the virtual event outlining the Traffic Commissioners’ priorities for the year ahead and how to avoid non-compliance.

The conference will also include a legislative round-up and compliance update: a session “One incident, three regulators: compliance on trial” with transport lawyers Weightmans; a session on best practice in preventative maintenance from the Driver and Vehicle Standards Agency (DVSA) and the Logistics UK VIS team; updates from the Driver and Vehicle Licensing Agency (DVLA); an interactive session on the future of road regulation; “Shifting gears to improve driver health and road safety: The SHIFT programme” with representatives from Loughborough University and the Leicester Diabetes Centre; and a presentation from National Vehicle Crime Intelligence Service (NaVCIS) on crime and theft in commercial transport.

Kevin Green, Logistics UK’s Acting Chief Executive, said: “We understand that attending in-person events is not always convenient, however, it is still essential for transport managers to stay informed about the latest regulations and compliance updates. Just like our in-person events, Virtual Transport Manager 2025 will deliver all the key briefing information needed to stay up to date, and we would urge anyone who has not been able to attend an in-person event to secure their place.”

Transport Manager is a recognised Continuing Professional Development (CPD) event, and attendees will receive a certificate evidencing their attendance, whether they attend in-person or virtually. CPD is a term used to describe the learning activities professionals engage in to develop, enhance and maintain their abilities.

Transport Manager 2025 is supported by BP, Brigade Electronics, Weightmans, WTW and a variety of regional exhibitors. For further information, or to book a place, please visit here:
