Victoria Davies has announced her resignation as the Traffic Commissioner for Wales, following a successful six-year period, to take up a new appointment effective from 1 March 2026.

Senior Traffic Commissioner Kevin Rooney said: “I would like to offer my thanks to Victoria for her contribution to road safety in Wales. I wish her every success in her new position. Her work has strengthened the Traffic Commissioner tribunal.

“In addition to the hours spent on cases, education and encouraging road transport businesses, she has enhanced cooperation between the Traffic Commissioners and the Welsh Government.”

Logistics UK’s Policy Manager – Trade, Customs and Borders Josh Fenton said: “Logistics UK would like to thank Traffic Commissioner Victoria Davies for her contribution to Welsh road safety for the past six years.

“We would particularly like to thank her for her active engagement with the logistics sector at our annual Transport Manager Conference and our Welsh Member Meetings. We wish her the very best in her new role.”
