Minister for the Future of Roads addresses Generation Logistics Week
The reception was hosted by Freight and Logistics All-Party Parliamentary Group (APPG) Chair Rachel Taylor MP, addressed by Minister for the Future of Roads Lilian Greenwood, and attended by young professionals, industry leaders and other Parliamentarians, including Shadow Transport and Business and Trade Minister Greg Smith MP.

Transport Minister Lilian Greenwood praised the campaign for “opening doors to an often-misunderstood sector” and reaffirmed the government’s support through the new Freight and Logistics Plan. Rachel Taylor MP celebrated the inclusion of logistics in the Industrial Strategy, and three young professionals shared their experiences to inspire others. Generation Logistics Executive Sponsor Phil Roe set out how, through industry collaboration, the campaign is playing a key role building the resilience of the UK’s supply chains.

Logistics UK's Head of Skills Policy and Generation Logistics, Bethany Windsor commented: “It was fantastic to mark three years of Generation Logistics with such strong cross-party support and inspiring contributions from young professionals shaping the future of our sector.
"The campaign continues to demonstrate the power of collaboration in breaking down misconceptions, opening doors, and creating clear, exciting career pathways. We’re proud of the impact so far – and even more excited about what’s to come."
