Member alert: Operation Brock to be deployed for May half term
Under current plans it will be stood down overnight Tuesday 27 May.
National Highways anticipates high volumes of tourists will travel via Eurotunnel and the Port of Dover during the first weekend of the halfterm (Friday 23 May-Sunday 25 May).
- If Operation Brock and Dover TAP are in operation, Kent Police and DVSA enforcement teams will be operating across Kent to ensure compliance.
- HGVs travelling to Port of Dover will require a permit to access the Port. Permits will be issued at the front of the Operation Brock queue.
- Please check the information provided by the ferry operators, the travel company, Eurotunnel or Port of Dover before you travel, and ensure you have supplies of food, water and essential medications readily to hand, particularly in hot weather.
