Member alert: M25 upcoming weekend closures

The motorway will shut, as it did on three occasions last year, to allow for the next stages of work as National Highways  looks to make improvements at Junction 10.  

As with previous closures, drivers are being urged to avoid using the motorway unless absolutely necessary, but if travelling to use the local diversions in place and not follow their satnavs.  

The weekend closure, which will see old bridges demolished and removed, are due to take place from:  

• 9pm Friday 21 March–6am on Monday 24 March  

The improvement scheme will see an increase in the number of lanes, helping to make journeys safer and improve traffic flow on the busiest junction of the M25.
