Logistics UK calls for West Midlands Futures to recognise the importance of the logistics sector
It aims to align regional development with national policies, such as the English Devolution White Paper and the Planning and Infrastructure Bill.
Logistics UK submitted its response on 23 May with our key message being that the WMCA should recognise logistics as a foundational sector. We are also calling for the appointment of a dedicated logistics lead to embed the sector across regional strategy.
