Logistics UK and Bearing Point launch carbon emissions partnership

The new Emissions Reporting for Transport service will be showcased at Logistics UK’s Delivering Decarbonisation conference on 27 November.

Logistics UK and BearingPoint launched their partnership back in April, to offer members a service to support their carbon emissions reporting specifically tailored to the transport industry.

BearingPoint, an independent management and technology consulting firm, has a wealth of expertise and experience in supporting businesses on their road to achieving net zero. The Emissions Reporting for Transport service they can offer Logistics UK members utilises BearingPoint’s comprehensive carbon management solution providing accurate CO₂e emissions data for legislative compliance, internal reporting and target tracking.

The service can provide reporting at three levels, which is vital for members who need to know what their CO₂e emissions across the entire organisation, at a regional or divisional level, and customer level: thereby supporting your customers’ needs for their own individual reporting requirements.

With UK legislation poised at requiring businesses to start reporting on their carbon emissions in the next one to two years under the imminent Sustainability Reporting Standards (SRS), we would like our members to start preparing early, if not already.
