Depot Charging Scheme funding delivers eHGV station in Suffolk

Voltempo has installed a charging solution for Bartrums Haulage at its Suffolk headquarters enabling it to scale its electric HGV fleet.

Bartrums Haulage, which carries out pallet network distribution, general haulage and bulk transport, will now have access to a 400kW charging system with charge monitoring and dedicated truck bays. The installation will also support the addition of further electric trucks to its fleet, including two Mercedes-Benz eActros 600 tractor units.

Voltempo, which led the project from initial design and planning to installation and grid connection, utilised funding provided by the UK government’s Depot Charging Scheme.
