Document Storage and Data Retention

Overview

We have introduced significant improvements to how organisations manage documents across Vision accounts.

These updates bring greater visibility, transparency, and control to document storage and retention—ensuring you have the tools you need to manage data efficiently.

 Storage Dashboard

All Vision accounts using Tacho Analysis, Check, or the upcoming Fleet Maintenance features now include a dedicated Storage tab within Account Settings.

Access is only available to those with Primary Contact or Company Admin role.

Key Capabilities

• Organisation-wide document overview
  View all uploaded documents, grouped by category—such as Organisation, Employee Checks, and Asset categories
• Usage insights
  See total storage usage and break it down by location to identify where document usage is highest.
• Monthly usage visualisation
  Access a monthly breakdown of document uploads and optionally view percentage contributions for clearer insight.

Data Retention Settings

A new data retention tab provides visibility into how long different types of system-led data are stored.

This section is also reserved for those with the Primary Contact or Company Admin role.
