Safeguarding and Prevent
Our Safeguarding Team are dedicated to keeping learners safe and protecting them from physical, emotional, and domestic abuse, cyberbullying, and radicalisation, among other safeguarding concerns. We are also dedicated to providing guidance and support regarding physical and mental health.
Prevent
Another aspect of safeguarding is the Prevent duty, which requires Logistics UK to have “due regard to the need to prevent people from being drawn into terrorism, supporting terrorism or being drawn into non-violent extremism.”

Meet our dedicated Safeguarding team - Apprentices: Seeking help is your first step!
Annie, Dzintra and Sue comprise our dedicated Safeguarding team and play a vital role in maintaining and promoting safe and secure learning environments. They are trained to provide guidance should a learner feel at risk of harm. They can also guide learners on accessing a range of support, such as money management, physical or mental well-being, and managing stress.
If you suspect an apprentice you work with is not adequately safeguarded, it is important to raise this with the safeguarding team. Doing nothing shouldn’t be an option; if you have a concern, please report it.
The team are available to contact for any concerns during working hours via email at safeguarding@logistics.org.uk via, landline 01786457519 for calls and via mobile 07818450370 for calls, texts, and WhatsApp messages.
Their working hours are Monday to Friday between 8.30am and 5pm. For out-of-hours support, please contact Samaritans (116 123) or Shout Text (85258) which offers advice, support, and guidance on everything from employment to mental health issues.
