FTA Transport Manager goes from strength to strength

Monday 31 October 2016

The Freight Transport Association’s Transport Manager sponsored by Iveco autumn conference series has got off to a flying start with five successful events having taken place so far and over 1,000 delegates booked to attend.

The Transport Manager roadshow was in Warrington last week, taking the series to the half-way mark, and the feedback from delegates has been positive.

Carlie Nowell, FTA’s Events Manager, said:

“The series has got off to a flying start with five successful events under our belt, and highlights so far include the Traffic Commissioners talking about their priorities for the year ahead, hearing our members’ thoughts on Brexit and its implications for logistics operations, and FTA’s Andy Mair exploring the top five incidents on the highways caused by HGVs.

“The cherry on the cake is passing our target of 1,000 delegates booked across the conference series.  But we’re only half-way through and there are still places left at venues around the country, so it’s not too late to reserve your place.”

FTA Transport Manager, which is supported by Goodyear Tyres and Microlise, runs until 1 December at venues around the UK, giving transport managers and those in charge of road transport fleets the opportunity to hear from key industry speakers and experts such as their local Traffic Commissioner, DVLA, DVSA and others on the latest issues affecting their operation.
