Logistics UK hosts its first decarbonisation event for Northern Ireland
Wednesday 05 April 2023
Logistics UK is proud to be hosting its first ever Northern Ireland (NI) decarbonisation event, taking place at Corr's Corner Hotel in Belfast on Tuesday 25 April 2023 between 9.30am - 12.00pm. The event is free to attend and will provide delegates with expert advice on how best to decarbonise their fleets and highlight what NI government departments are doing to support decarbonising the industry.
Nichola Mallon, Head of Trade & Devolved Policy at Logistics UK, comments: “I am delighted to be part of this first event for Northern Ireland focused solely on decarbonising the logistics sector. Logistics UK is fully committed to meeting government’s net zero targets and hopes this event will offer much needed information to companies looking to begin their own journey.”
Attendees will have the opportunity to gain insight from businesses and operators who are already on their decarbonisation journey and therefore have practical experience and knowledge to share. In addition, there will be expert speakers who include Ian Dunn, Strategic Development Manager at Logistics UK, Timothy Weir, Transport Planning and Policy Division, Department for Infrastructure and Andrew Cupples, Network Development Manager at NIE Networks, with more to be confirmed.
