Last chance to secure your place at Logistics UK’s Vans Today 2023

Monday 24 April 2023

With just a few days to go until Logistics UK’s Vans Today event, the business group is urging anyone wishing to attend to sign up as soon as possible to secure the last remaining places and avoid disappointment. Taking place on 27 April 2023 at Leicester City Football Club, the half-day briefing aims to outline potential solutions to some of the key operational challenges currently facing van fleet operators.

The event, which is sponsored by Logistics UK’s Van Gold Partners – The AA, Bott Ltd, Brigade Electronics, Lex Autolease, TVL and Webfleet - focuses on operating vans during the current cost-of-living crisis, with key topics under discussion including updates on electric vehicles, ways to optimise van operations, van-focussed compliance challenges and the importance of maintaining van security.

All are encouraged to attend to keep their compliance knowledge up to date and take advantage of an unrivalled line-up of speakers, including industry experts from National Highways, SMMT and Aviva. There will also be an opportunity to ask questions of Logistics UK’s Member Advice Centre team at the MAC clinic that will be held at the event for operators.

Event Chair Denise Beedell, Senior Policy Manager, Logistics UK, said: “We are thrilled to host so many industry experts from across the logistics sector who are willing to share their wealth of knowledge and skills with van fleet operators. In addition, attendees will be given an overview of LCV manufacturing and registration data from Will Reeves at SMMT, and advice on safety issues from Mark Cartwright at National Highways. Delegates will also hear from Graham Gardner from Webfleet UKI, who will talk about navigating the cost-of-business squeeze with interconnected fleet technology. This is not an event to be missed, so I urge all those interested to book today.”
