To be held on 10 November at 11am – Transport Day at COP26 – Mr Eastlake, Ms Hewson and Ms Pringle will join Logistics UK’s Chief Executive, David Wells for the event, who will be presenting the business group’s route map to help decarbonise logistics across all transport modes, as well as detailing the measures industry needs from government and other stakeholders to make net zero a reality.

Michelle Gardner, Head of Public Policy at Logistics UK, comments: “As two of the first companies to sign up to Logistics UK’s Route to Net Zero commitment – in which we are asking our members to commit to decarbonising their operations as quickly and effectively as possible to speed up the UK’s path to Net Zero by 2050 – we are thrilled Jackie Hewson from John Lewis Partnership and Elaine Pringle from Scottish Water will be presenting at this webinar.  By sharing their individual companies’ decarbonisation strategies, we are confident that their insights and learnings will be helpful for businesses looking to make the next step on the route to net zero.”

Ms Gardner continued: “Zemo Partnership’s vital work brings government, industry, NGOs, experts and other stakeholders together to accelerate the transition to zero emission mobility in the UK. We are delighted the organisation's Andy Eastlake will be presenting at our ‘Route to Net Zero’ webinar, to share essential insights into the future of transport as the UK moves towards a net zero economy.”
