Next Generation Van 2022 event to show operators how to transition their van fleets to net zero

As decarbonisation continues its rapid and inexorable rise to the very top of the logistics sector’s agenda, vans are often perceived to be the industry’s low-hanging fruit, ripe for the early adoption of zero emission fuels.

To help van fleet operators understand the options open to them and the next steps they will need to take on their journey to net zero, Logistics UK is hosting a special free-to-attend one-day conference – Next Generation Van 2022, to be held in Coventry on 7 July 2022. Key industry leaders and expert speakers will share their expertise and insights into how van operators can prepare their fleets for the future, while policy experts from Logistics UK will share the key findings of its recently published Decarbonising Logistics report.

Denise Beedell, Public Policy Manager, said: “With the government’s 2030 ban on new diesel and petrol cars and vans hovering on the near horizon, it is imperative that operators of van fleets start to plan now for their next round of vehicle procurement.

“The Next Generation Van 2022 conference is the ideal opportunity to set aside a day to hear from key industry experts about the best way to transition your van fleets to zero emission fuels. I strongly urge all van fleet operators thinking about taking their next steps to decarbonising their van fleets to register their interest in this highly topical conference without delay.”
