Phil Roe, President, Logistics UK
Phil joined Logistics UK as President in April 2022 after 5 years as a non-executive Director. Prior to joining he was a board Director at DHL Supply Chain which was the culmination of his 35 year career with DHL and XPO. He is also a non-executive Director and trustee at the Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport
Phil has substantial experience of supply chain leadership across multiple customers, sectors and geographies, with 35 years’ experience in a variety of senior leadership roles within operations and functional areas. These include Managing Director, Chief Operations Officer and Chief Customer Officer and Strategy Director.

Alan Richardson, Chief Financial Officer, Evri
Alan Richardson is Chief Financial Officer at EVRi, the UK’s biggest dedicated parcel delivery company, delivering more than 700 million parcels a year internationally on behalf of Europe’s top retailers and marketplaces.
Alan joined the EVRi board in 2018 and has over 20 years of varied experience in financial management, business leadership and corporate strategy having previously worked at KPMG, Asda Stores Ltd, Morrisons Supermarkets PLC and the Crashaws Group PLC.
Alan is responsible for all the company’s financial functions, including accounting, tax & treasury, audit, corporate finance, commercial finance, and investor relations. He also oversees and manages all legal, public affairs and property functions for the Group.
Over the last 3 years, Alan has overseen significant growth in the business which has been further accelerated by c.£60m of investment in EVRi’s Barnsley hub which is the largest of its kind in Europe.
Simon Villaneueva, Public Affairs Director, Volvo Trucks
Simon is responsible for leading the legal function within Volvo Trucks in the South and West Europe region. He has more than 25 years’ legal experience working in various industries, but with a clear preference for automotive. Previously Simon has worked for British Telecommunications, Coors Brewers and the MG Rover Group. In addition Simon’s role has recently expanded to lead the public affairs program for the Volvo Group in the UK.
Becky Taylor, CFO, DHL Supply Chain UK & Ireland
Becky is the first female CFO for DHL Supply Chain UK&I. She leads a Finance team of over 650, in a £4bn organisation, employing over 40,000 employees in the UK&I. She was part of the leadership team leading the business through Brexit and Covid and then stepped into the CFO role 2 years ago, managing through the more recent macro economic events.
Becky has spent 21 years in DHL working across multiple Divisions, Sectors and roles, primarily across Finance and Commercial roles. Her previous role was as VP Commercial where she created a dedicated Commercial team focused on supporting pricing and risk and reward decisions on new business and renewals. Prior to working for DHL she worked for EY London completing her ICEAW Chartered Accountancy qualification.

Tom Southall, Executive Director, Cold Chain Federation
Tom Southall, Executive Director, is part of the leadership team at the Cold Chain Federation, the UK’s trade association for the temperature-controlled logistics industry. With a background including public sector environmental policy and private consultancy, Tom leads the Federation’s policy and advisory services which cover a wide range of areas including energy and climate change, food safety, health and safety and transport policy. The cold chain is critical to us all, from maintaining the UK’s food supply to minimising food waste and the Cold Chain Federation exists to provide a voice for this vital, but largely unseen, part of the supply chain. http://www.coldchainfederation.org.uk

Maurice joined Demica in October 2017 from Wells Fargo where he was CEO, Commercial Distribution Finance, responsible for $3bn of receivables assets and over 400 people. Maurice joined Wells from GE Capital where he held a number of senior positions including Chief Commercial Officer of GE Capital International. Prior to GE, Maurice worked as a senior investment banker at Lehman Brothers, Bankers Trust and Paribas.
