What type of event should I host?

It is up to individual businesses, based on what fits their operations best. Previously, members have offered on-site tours, taster sessions and workshops as well as discussions and Q&As with a number of people from all levels throughout the business. Get in touch using our form below and we can discuss what might be best for you.

 

Do I have to host an event on all three days, or can I do one day?

While the campaign runs across the three days, the choice is yours! You could take part on one, two or three of the days. It is a flexible approach based on what is best for your business.

 

What support is available from Logistics UK?

Logistics UK will supply you with a media pack including a draft press release, social media banners, posters and various social media graphics. We will also seek to promote your event through press releases, potential local broadcast opportunities and using popular Generation Logistics platforms.

This will be the second year we are running it, following its successful first year in which we were supported by the DWP, a national tabloid and received social media support from senior government ministers. We will be looking again at reaching out to receive similar levels of external support this year.

 

Do I have to pay?

There is no fee for taking part in the weekend. Any potential costs incurred are up to the individual business and the event they host.
