Bentley goes all in on SAF for critical air freight movements

Air freight represents a carefully controlled part of its global network and is used only when customers request it, shipments are time critical or market requirements make it necessary.

Air transport produces higher emissions than sea transport, making the move to certified SAF a step towards reducing the environmental impact of these essential movements.

Since introducing SAF into its air freight operations, Bentley has already transported customer cars using SAF, achieving substantial well-to-wheel CO2e reductions compared to the use of standard aviation fuel.

The SAF usage currently covers all customer car movements, but exploration is underway to extend SAF across additional logistics routes where air freight may be needed.
