Last chance to book for popular transport manager conference

Wednesday 24 February 2016

There is still just time to book for the Freight Transport Association’s Transport Manager Northern Ireland Conference, sponsored by Brigade Electronics and Goodyear Tyres, which returns to Titanic, Belfast on Wednesday 2 March. The conference provides all the information and advice transport managers need to meet the challenges of the rapidly changing transport scene in Northern Ireland.

Speakers at the conference include Transport Minister at the Department of Regional Development Michelle McIlveen MLA; Mike Beare, Director of Transformation at the Driver & Vehicle Agency, and delegates will experience a mock public inquiry led by Donna Knowles of the Transport Regulation Unit.

Previous delegate Steven McAlernon of Primeline said: “Not only does the conference keep you up-to-date with the latest and future changes in transport law but it is an excellent opportunity to network, with ideas being shared and future business opportunities discussed. The venue is fantastic and the conference is a ‘must-attend’ event for Primeline.”

Adam Barfoot of CalorGas said: “The knowledge, experience and professionalism of each presenter was evident, and the topics chosen fitted in well with concerns that the industry currently faces from day-to-day. I would recommend the FTA Conference to anyone dealing with transport issues today.”

Prices for attending this event have been frozen for the second year running, the cost for FTA members being £265 plus VAT for the first delegate and £225 plus VAT for subsequent delegates; the cost for non-members is £330 plus VAT for the first delegate and £290 plus VAT for subsequent delegates.
