Outstanding success for FTA and FTAI members at Transport & Logistics Awards

Freight Transport Association and FTA Ireland members achieved outstanding success at Export & Freight magazine’s annual Northern Ireland Transport & Logistics Awards, held last Thursday evening in Belfast.

The successful members, who are based in the north and south of Ireland, were:

Safety Award – DFDS – based in Belfast
Excellence in Customer Service – Dennison Commercials – based in Ballyclare, Co Antrim
Technician of the Year – BOC’s Tommy Black – based in Belfast
Transport Manager of the Year – FTA Northern Ireland Freight Council member Pascal Manley from Linwoods, based in Armagh (Pascal is from Co Fermanagh)
Top Fleet of the Year – Surefreight – based in Newry, Co Down
Top Training Operator – Wincanton - Belfast
Own Account Operator of the Year – Westland Horticulture – based in Dungannon, Co Tyrone
Haulier of the Year – Blair International – based in Ballymena, Co Antrim
European Haulier of the Year – Carna Transport – based in Keady, Co Armagh
International Logistics specialist – DFDS
Irish Fleet Truck of the Year – DAF XF

Seamus Leheny, Policy & Membership Relations Manager for FTA in Northern Ireland said:
