Terms of reference
The Van Policy Working Group is a working group of Logistics UK and comprises of individuals whose organisations operate or use vans in the course of their business operations.
The Group’s remit will be to:
Inform and help direct Logistics UK’s position in responding to, and influencing, measures proposed or taken by local, devolved and UK Government, and European and global regulatory agencies that affect van operators.
Shape Logistics UK’s efforts to inform and educate elected representatives and policy makers about legal and operational requirements relating to van drivers and operators.
Create a forum for the presentation, understanding and discussion of all van policy related activities.
The group will operate according to Logistics UK’s Rules on the Conduct of meetings and meet at least three times per annum.
