Logistics UK representative ranked within top ten of GreenFleet's 100 Most Influential

Tuesday 14 February 2023

Logistics UK’s Senior Policy Manager, Denise Beedell, has been announced as eighth on GreenFleet’s 100 Most Influential 2023 list, following her outstanding policy work focusing on the logistics industry’s transition to decarbonising fleet operations.

“I am honoured to be featured as number eight within GreenFleet’s top 100 most influential people of 2023, which is also a tribute to colleagues at Logistics UK and our members as we work towards net zero,” remarks Ms Beedell. “Successfully addressing the challenges associated with reaching net zero, and providing a greener future for the logistics sector and country, is high on Logistics UK’s agenda, and is also a main focus for GreenFleet in the UK’s journey to tackle the climate crisis.”

The GreenFleet 100 Most Influential recognises those leading the charge to net zero and brings together a mixture of industry representatives, fleet managers, charities, car manufacturers, and those in businesses that strive to reduce carbon emissions and improve air quality. Logistics UK launched its Route to Net Zero campaign in July 2021, which asks its members to support the campaign and commit to decarbonising their operations as quickly, effectively and as urgently as possible to speed up the UK’s path to Net Zero by 2050.
