Wednesday 15 September 2021

Places are filling up fast with less than a week to go until the 2021 launch of Logistics UK’s popular Transport Manager conference series. With live events planned at 11 venues around the UK, the series will begin in Southampton on 21 September 2021.

Launching at Hilton at the Ageas Bowl, Southampton, attendees will hear from expert speakers including senior industry figures and policy makers – such as the local Traffic Commissioner – on topics such as logistics in urban centres, low emission vehicles, working safely with alternative fuels, compliance and much more. The series will then travel to venues in Newcastle, Manchester, Belfast, Peterborough, London, Yeovil, Doncaster, Falkirk, Chepstow and Coventry, in addition to a virtual event.

Sponsored by Bridgestone Tyres and Brigade Electronics, the event is a must-attend for anyone involved in running vehicle fleets as it will highlight key issues, provide professional advice and help transport managers remain compliant and up to speed on the latest legislative developments.

James Firth, Logistics UK’s Head of Road Freight Regulation Policy, comments: “We are very much looking forward to launching our conference series in Southampton and greeting delegates in person. Compliance is vital in the logistics industry; it has been a challenging 12 months for anyone operating vehicles in their businesses, and the Transport Manager conference provides operators with peace of mind that they are equipped with all the information they need, as well as giving them the opportunity to hear from senior figures in the industry and have their questions answered.”

The price for Logistics UK members is £295 plus VAT for the first delegate and £265 plus VAT for subsequent delegates; for non-Logistics UK members the cost is £395 plus VAT for the first delegate and £365 plus VAT for subsequent delegates. For more information, or to book your place at either the Southampton event, or any of the other 10 events taking place around the country, please visit: www.logistics.org.uk/transport-manager
