Only a week remains until Next Generation Van 2022

There are just seven days remaining until Logistics UK’s eagerly-awaited Next Generation Van event, to be held in Coventry on 7 July 2022.

The free-to-attend, one-day event will provide delegates with a range of practical advice and case studies on how to transition their fleets from fossil fuels to zero-emission fuels.

David Wells, Chief Executive, Logistics UK, said: “Decarbonisation has shot to the very top of the logistics sector’s agenda in recent years, and as vans are perceived to be the ‘low hanging fruit’ in this regard, the expectation is that van operators will be among the first to transition their fleets away from fossil fuels.

“With the government’s ban on the sale of new petrol and diesel vans by 2030 looming ever larger on the horizon, fleet operators from across the industry are now forced to answer hard questions about their next round of vehicle procurement.”

To help van operators plan their transition and keep abreast of developments in vehicle technology, the Next Generation Van event offers a packed programme. An unrivalled line-up of expert speakers, including leading industry consultant Tim Campbell and renowned futurist Fergus McVey, will be discussing everything from wireless charging trials to developing and recruiting the skill sets needed for the future.
