2021 virtual Member Briefings get off to a flying start

A record 400 Logistics UK members registered to attend the first of Logistics UKā€™s virtual Member Briefings this morning.

The free-to-attend compliance briefings, which cover a wide range of topics, are webinars designed to deliver reliable and relevant information to Logistics UK members, allowing them to keep abreast of the latest developments.

This morning’s session focused on important changes expected in 2021, including an update on COVID-19-related extensions and suspensions, new financial standing rates, the introduction of the 10-year tyre ban and the introduction of Clean Air Zones.

Three further dates are now open to book: Thursday 4 February at 2pm and Thursday 4 March at 10am and 2pm. The briefing on 4 February will focus on COVID-19 restrictions and extensions followed by what we can expect regarding changes in 2021; the two briefings on 4 March will concentrate on compliance matters for Public Service and Utilities organisations.

Ian Gallagher, Head of Compliance Information at Logistics UK, said: “These briefings provide a perfect opportunity for members to refresh their knowledge and gain an understanding of what to expect in 2021. They will provide a platform to enable further research and help in your planning schedules. Plus, don’t forget that Logistics UK’s own Member Advice Centre is always there to help in your day-to-day practical application of any new changes.”
