Winners for Logistics UK’s Van Awards 2022 are announced

Logistics UK announced the winners of its Van Awards 2022 last Friday (16 September 2022), the annual awards that celebrate the operators that have made a significant contribution to the industry over the past 12 months.

Kevin Green, Director at Logistics UK, comments: “To be announced as a Logistics UK Van Awards winner is a tremendous accomplishment. Van operators play a crucial role in the logistics industry and wider UK economy, and Logistics UK is thrilled to recognise and celebrate the dedicated businesses and individuals within this vital sector. With the awards celebrating the ‘best of the best’, the standard of entrants is always incredibly high. I would like to take this opportunity to congratulate all our winners, and those shortlisted this year.”

Supported by Logistics UK’s Van Gold Partners – The AA, Bott Ltd, Brigade Electronics, Lex Autolease, Quartix, TVL and WTW – the winners of the Van Awards 2022 are:

  • Keeping your Show on the Road, sponsored by AA: HH Driveright
  • Winning at Wellbeing, sponsored by Bott: The Clancy Group
  • Using technology for good, sponsored by Brigade Electronics: Reflex Vehicle Hire
  • Sustainable Van Operator of the Year, sponsored by Lex Autolease: HIVED
  • Van Safety and Compliance, sponsored by Quartix: Carnell
  • Diversity and Inclusion, sponsored by TVL: J Murphy & Sons Ltd
  • Hero of the Year, sponsored by WTW: Nathan White, Lead Driver, Sciensus

Judges of the awards were particularly impressed by Hero of the Year winner, Nathan White, following his outstanding act of selflessness and bravery in an extremely dangerous situation involving a fatal road traffic incident. White witnessed the serious collision take place and in the face of oncoming motorway traffic, left his vehicle and rescued a stricken driver, pulling them to safety moments before another vehicle crashed into the injured person’s already overturned vehicle.

All winners of the Van Awards will be automatically shortlisted for the Van Business of the Year category at Logistics UK’s Logistics Awards 2022, taking place on Thursday 8 December 2022 at the Park Plaza Westminster Bridge in London. For more information on the Logistics Awards 2022, please visit the link below.
