Logistics UK’s free van events offer solutions to key challenges
There are fewer than 12 days to go until the first of Logistics UK’s free-to-attend Vans Today events.
Operators of van fleets who are keen to keep up to date with the latest insights into compliance, driver well-being, and vehicle development are strongly recommended to book their places on one of the two in-person events (formerly known as Van Operational Briefings) without delay.
Taking place in Sheffield on 26 April 2022 and London on 28 April 2022, an unrivalled line up of speakers, including experts from Weightmans, RED Training, Rivus Fleet Management and WTW will share up-to-the-minute information on key van operational issues. These include driver well-being and responsibilities, innovative solutions to technological challenges, maintaining second-hand vehicles, know-hows of van insurance and much more. The events are sponsored by Logistics UK’s Van Gold Partners: the AA, Bott Ltd, Brigade Electronics, Lex Autolease, Quartix, TVL and WTW.
Expert research specialist (and delegate favourite) Fergus McVey of 7th Sense Research will be the keynote speaker at both events, where he will provide unique insights into the van market – informed by robust qualitative and quantitative research – and consider potential changes which will affect the way businesses operate.
McVey said: “7th Sense Research has conducted thousands of interviews with van operators, business owners and members of the public to find out what’s really going on in the worlds of business and transport. As van operators face the unique challenges of building back from COVID-19 and the transformation of shopping, cities and work, I’m going to give you some quite startling insights into how we live now and what future consumers will want from your business.”
Event chair, Denise Beedell, Public Policy Manager at Logistics UK, said: “With the van market evolving at rapid speed, operators and fleet managers must ensure they are armed with the knowledge they need to run their fleets efficiently, legally and safely. With fewer than 12 days to go before the first event – and only a few tickets remaining – I strongly urge all van fleet professionals to book their places on this free event now and make the most of this opportunity to learn from the best in the business.”
