Logistics UK launches its annual Logistics Industry Survey

To ensure that it continues to focus on the topics that matter most to its members, Logistics UK launched its annual Logistics Industry Survey earlier this week (10/01/23).

This annual poll of members’ experiences and perceptions of the freight market and the current trading environment helps Logistics UK to provide insights on the levels of current and future logistics activity that it can use at an aggregated level to present the achievements of freight transport and logistics to the government and wider public.

The findings of the Logistics Industry Survey form a key part of Logistics UK’s Logistics Report which will be published in spring 2023. As an incentive Logistics UK will send every survey respondent a free copy of the complete Logistics Report 2023.

Sarah Watkins, Deputy Director, Policy Information, Logistics UK, said: “The Logistics Industry Survey is vitally important to informing our policy work at Logistics UK. By hearing first hand from those who work at the sharp end of logistics, our respondents’ views, experiences and perceptions of the freight market and trading conditions provide an important barometer of business confidence and expectations within the industry.”
