Still time to view this year’s Van Operational Briefings

If you missed the Logistics UK Van Operations Briefings held in September, you can still watch the recording free of charge to ensure your van operation is prepared for what lies ahead.

Sponsored by Logistics UK’s Van Gold Partners: AA, Bott, Brigade, Hertz, Lex Autolease, Quartix and TVL, the Van Operational Briefings presented an unrivalled line-up of speakers and gave delegates the opportunity to discuss the role of enforcement and compliance.

Highlights included sessions on van driver welfare, understanding electric vans and an intriguing session on upgrading the power supply at depots to support an electric fleet. Also well received was a future-focussed panel discussion among Logistics UK’s Van Gold Partners, about how to prepare for industry developments over the next five years.

Denise Beedell, Public Policy Manager, said: “We received some incredibly positive feedback from delegates at our Van Operational Briefings, with several members remarking on the high calibre of the speakers and the professional way in which the events were delivered.

“Vans were particularly high profile during the pandemic and rightly recognised for the essential service they provide, whether that’s delivering urgent and everyday supplies or maintaining vital utilities. These two Van Operational Briefings performed a sterling job of helping to prepare operators to navigate the post-pandemic recovery. By accessing the event recording, you can ensure your van operation is prepared for what’s ahead.”
