A snapshot of where the Logistics UK policy team has been and who they've seen in the past week.

- Head of Planning and Infrastructure Policy, Jonathan Walker spoke on a panel at the Sub-national Transport Bodies conference chaired by Western Gateway on freight priorities, particularly in rural areas. 

- Senior Policy Manager Alexandra Herdman attended a Scottish Labour policy roundtable on transport, led by Scottish Labour leader Anas Sarwar MSP. 

- Head of Trade and Devolved Policy Nichola Mallon attended the CBI Electric Vehicle Infrastructure Working Group to give an update on industry issues. 

- Deputy Director of Policy - Michelle Gardner attended the Zero Emission HGV and Infrastructure Demonstrator (ZEHID) Programme Progress Summit. 

- Senior Policy Manager Alexandra Herdman attended an event with Ian Murray MP, Secretary of State for Scotland. 

- Head of Trade and Devolved Policy Nichola Mallon attended a Cabinet Office roundtable on the Single Trade Window. 

-  Senior Policy Advisor Ellis Shelton hosted Logistics UK’s Rail Council meeting to discuss the Railways Bill consultation. 

- Head of Trade and Devolved Policy Nichola Mallon met with UK and EU representatives? on the Windsor Framework. 

- Head of Engineering Policy Phil Lloyd met with SMMT on HGV weights and dimensions. 

- Head of Engineering Policy Phil Lloyd met with members and the Traffic Commissioner in Bristol on the challenges around brake testing. 

- Senior Policy Manager Alexandra Herdman visited the Scottish Parliament to meet with Claire Baker MSP, Scottish Labour Shadow Transport Secretary. 

- Senior Policy Manager Alexandra Herdman visited the Scottish Parliament to meet with Sue Webber MSP, Scottish Conservative Shadow Transport Secretary.
