Vans Today 2023 an “excellent kickstart to the year”, says Logistics UK

We’d like to thank everyone who helped organise, attended and spoke at our Vans Today 2023 event last Thursday at Leicester City Football Club.

Dan Crutchington, Senior Transport Advisor at Logistics UK, spoke eloquently on compliance challenges to start, covering driving licence changes load security, mobile phones and in-cab technology, vaping in vehicles, domestic hours, tachographs and fatigue.

He was followed by SMMT’s Will Reeves, Lex Autolease’s Andy Hill, TVL Security’s Laura Moran, Webfleet’s Graham Gardner, Nationals Highways’ Mark Cartwright, Aviva’s Gill Millner and the AA’s Paul Johnson.

"It was an excellent kickstart to the year with a huge amount of detail and insight on offer," said Conference Chair Denise Beedell, Senior Policy Manager at Logistics UK. Attendees commented after the event that the amount of info on offer was "very comprehensive" and "gave us a lot to think about".

The next scheduled event – Next Generation Van – takes place in Coventry on 11 July, where the focus will be on issues facing vans in the future.

With topics like decarbonisation, reflections about EV Rally, plans and updates from HS2 and an address from the Shadow Minister for Business and Industry, this is truly an event not to be missed by leaders in van fleet management.

So, save the date and book your place now!
