Speaker line-up revealed for Logistics UK’s Delivering Decarbonisation event

Logistics UK has revealed an impressive speaker line up for its first ever Delivering Decarbonisation conference, taking place on the 21 November at America Square Conference Centre in London.

Featuring a series of engaging panel discussions and keynote speeches, the conference –sponsored by Shell, Port of Dover and Equans – will bring together industry-leading experts including Lord Callanan, Minister for Energy, Efficiency and Green Finance; Dr Russell Fowler, Senior Manager at National Grid; Malcolm Wilkinson, Head of Energy at National Highways; and Alan McKinnon, Professor of Logistics.

Topics for debate include how to approach decarbonisation of HGV operations in the UK, how the government is supporting businesses, views from the OEMs, creating an EV adoption strategy, the infrastructure required for HGV decarbonisation, real case studies and more.

“The logistics industry is undergoing profound changes and is becoming increasingly complex as we strive for decarbonisation,” said Michelle Gardner, Deputy Director of Policy at Logistics UK.

“In recognition of the significance of this transformation, we are delighted to host Delivering Decarbonisation, an essential conference – that proved to be extremely popular last year – for senior logistics leaders and decarbonisation experts.

“We are thrilled to be offering such a diverse speaker line up and to give attendees a platform to network with some of the most influential and knowledgeable names in the sector,” continues Ms Gardener.

“Attendees can engage in discussions at the forefront of the industry, gain valuable insights from peers facing similar challenges and forge partnerships that will shape the future of sustainable logistics.

“We are confident that this not-to-be-missed event will help to drive meaningful change.”

This event is priced at £199 + VAT for members of Logistics UK and £239 + VAT for non-members.
