Nearly half of vans in outer London not compliant with ULEZ

According to new figures from the Society of Motor Manufacturers and Traders, almost half of vans registered in outer London do not comply with the Ultra Low Emission Zone (ULEZ).

The data was released following a Freedom of Information request by the BBC to Transport for London.

City Hall has disputed the findings. Preferring to collect its data by using cameras to record vehicles driving – as opposed to those simply registered – it has declared that 80% of vans are compliant on an average day.

If you’re unsure whether your van or vans are compliant, you should check if it meets emissions standards on the TfL website.

If you want to learn more about the key challenges facing vans in 2023, please join us at our Next Generation Van event on 11 July.

How many miles does your van travel on average per week?

How many deliveries do you make on average each day?

How long do you roughly spend on the road each day?

What is the most unusual delivery you’ve made so far?

Where is the most unusual location you’ve delivered to?

If you could find two minutes and enter your answers here we’d really appreciate it. Thank you.
