EVolve – using GPS data to suggest the best EV transition for your fleet

Electric has been widely adopted as an efficient alternative for light commercial vehicles (LCVs), however the transition can be daunting and there are many factors that need to be considered such as vehicle purpose, operational costs and fleet size.  
 
To help companies manage their move to electric, Logistics UK’s Van Gold Partner, Quartix, has recently launched a new initiative that uses fleets’ recent GPS data to suggest the most efficient electric vehicle migration plan, reducing the burden for operators. By using this service, operators will have access to a ‘best matched vehicle’ list – fully customised to their unique fleet requirements – and, to help reduce uncertainty will have access to charging infrastructure recommendations. 

Operators will have the option to refresh the recommendation, which will include any updated or newly available electric vehicles or charging options. Updated Total Cost of Ownership figures will also factor in the latest fuel and electric prices and any changes to EV incentives, to keep organisations fully informed and on track.
