Water and Shippers Council visit the Port of Dover

On 12 March, Logistics UK’s Water Council arranged a visit to Port of Dover. The group included members from other Logistics UK groups as a new initiative.

The Port of Dover is an essential hub in the United Kingdom’s supply chain and a key link in its trading relationship with the EU. During the visit, participants received an in-depth overview of port operations from Terminal Control’s perspective.

They also enjoyed a harbour tour aboard the port's new pilot vessel, DHB DILIGENT, toured the bulk cargo facility, and learned about the Port of Dover’s forward-looking plans for enhancing safety and sustainability. Thank you to all the staff at Port of Dover for making this such an informative, engaging and fun day.
