Up for the cup! Logistics UK personnel shortlisted for major industry awards
Logistics UK is delighted to announce that we have two finalists in Everywoman in Transport & Logistics Awards 2025
Now in their 18th year, the awards celebrate the vital contribution women make to transport and logistics showcasing progression, accomplishments and increasing avenues of opportunity within a traditionally male-dominated industry.
Women make up only 21% of the workforce in an industry that employs over 1.5million people and contributed £214 billion to the UK economy in 2020*. Research shows that diverse teams are better positioned to unlock innovation and drive growth.
The everywoman in Transport & Logistics Awards plays an important role in highlighting success stories, shifting perceptions and creating role models to inspire future female talent.
Logistics UK's finalists are...
Bethany Windsor, Head of Skills Policy Logistics UK is shortlisted for the Industry Champion Award - Sponsored by BP
About the award: Awarded to a female pioneer whose longstanding and continuous support of women in transport and logistics has led to impactful and measurable change.
Phil Roe, President Logistics UK is shortlisted for the Male Agent of Change Award - Sponsored by Asda
About the award: Awarded to a male role model who is actively committed to encouraging, advancing, sponsoring, or championing the progress of women in transport and logistics in his organisation and beyond.
With women contributing 40% of these studies and 16% from the BAME communities the campaign aims to increase diversity in logistics.
Everyone at Logistics UK would like to congratulate Bethany and Phil for their nominations and wish them luck on the night!
