Member alert: Logistics Performance Tracker Survey
Logistics UK is encouraging its members to complete its latest quarterly Logistics Performance Tracker Survey, looking at supply chain disruption, operating costs and innovation.
Taking no longer than ten minutes to complete, the survey includes questions on supply chain issues, freight rates, trading conditions and cyber security to gather a picture of performance over Q1 2024.
With the UK falling into a recession at the end of 2023 and disruptions in the Red Sea causing unprecedented challenges, it is important to measure sentiment of industry and understand policy priorities.
Results from the survey provide insights into the challenges and opportunities facing the industry, with the intention to inform government, industry, academia, and the work of Logistics UK's policy team.
By completing the survey, respondents will be helping to inform our work and ensure the logistics sector can continue delivering.
The survey will remain until the end of the month. Individual survey responses will be treated as strictly confidential and will not be shared with any third party other than in aggregated form. Compete the survey here.

News In Brief
ROADPOL Operation Truck and Bus coming 13-19 May
ROADPOL Operation Truck & Bus is a coordinated pan-European enforcement action by Traffic Police Officers from each ROADPOL member country and takes place on Europe's roads four times each year.
Commercial busses and heavy goods vehicles are stopped and checked at the roadside by Traffic Police Officers together with other relevant enforcement agencies.
Road safety checks are carried out, such as the technical condition, dimensions and weight of the vehicles, and whether the drivers are authorized and adhere to European driving times. A check of the tachograph is part of this. The cargo and accompanying documents are also checked.
