Logistics UK’s Van Operational Briefings – only one week remaining

Sponsored content

Logistics UK’s Van Operational Briefings are taking place later this month, providing operators with the crucial information they need to ensure their vans are operated in a safe, efficient and compliant manner.

Free to attend, the briefings will take place at the AJ Bell Stadium in Manchester on 14 September 2021 and the Crowne Plaza Gerrards Cross in Beaconsfield on 16 September 2021. Speakers at the briefings will provide delegates with the latest information on compliance and operating standards, and will share vital insights into driver welfare, alternative fuels, navigating changed road space and operators’ obligations regarding vehicle safety defects and recalls.

With the government’s deadline that all new cars and vans must be fully zero emission at the tailpipe by 2035, the van market has begun going through a period of rapid change. And, along with changes to the Highway Code and ongoing security, driver welfare and safety concerns, operators must have a well-rounded, up-to-date view of the challenges the industry faces and how these can be overcome.

As well as sessions led by Logistics UK speakers, and a range of external expert industry speakers, Logistics UK’s Van Gold Partners – the AA, Bott Ltd, Brigade Electronics, Hertz, Lex Autolease, Quartix and TVL – will be participating in a panel discussion regarding van focus for the future.  Sponsors of the event, these companies will combine their professional knowledge in this session to ensure operators are armed with the tools they need moving forward.

With less than a week to go until the first event, spaces are filling fast. To secure your spot, please visit the link below.
